The second agricultural census, to which the metadata review and data presented here refer, was carried out in 2012. Agriculture Census provide general information for the agricultural unit with activity in the territorry Of the Republic Albania Agricultural Census provide the statistical information necessary for the planning and implementation of the general policies agricultural economic development and will enable the creation the register of the farm by type; Crop Register, Vineyard Register, Livestocks Register. Agricultural Census conducted one in ten years. Albania National coverage Households The statistical unit is the agricultural holding, defined as a single unit, both technically and economically, which has a single management, is composed by land even in fragmented parcels, and undertakes agricultural and livestock activities within the economic territory of Albania. Census/enumeration data [cen] Typical structural agricultural data that are collected are the size of the farm ,land use, number of livestocks, irrigation, labour force and others. Face-to-face [f2f] Optical scanning was used for census data capture. The census results were disseminated online. The final results of the CAH 2012 were published in 2017 and are available online. Thirty-three tables were prepared at the national level. At the prefecture and district level, 26 tables were chosen. Approximately 19 tables were prepared for each commune, which are modified versions of the tables at the national level.
