The Monitoring System consists of primary data collected from households on a periodic basis (more or less every four months, depending on seasonality). FAO conducted a household survey in Haiti through the Data in Emergencies Monitoring (DIEM) system. The survey started from November 24 to December 24, 2022. The survey employed random digital dialing to select households. A total of 2 053 households were reached, a representative at the department level. The survey targeted all ten departments of Haiti: Artibonite, Centre, Grand\u2019Anse, Nippes, Nord, Nord-Est, Nord-Ouest, Sud, Sud-Est, and Ouest.
