The Monitoring System consists of primary data collected from households on a periodic basis (more or less every four months, depending on seasonality). FAO launched a Round 9, randomised telephone interviews survey on 26 October 2022 to monitor agricultural livelihoods and food security in the 18 governorates of Iraq. Data collection resumed on 1 December 2022. A total of 2583 households were interviewed (1 743 non-agricultural households and 840 agricultural households) using a panel list of agricultural households (interviewed in the previous data collection rounds) and the Random Digit Dialing (RDD) approach.
