This was a follow-through of the NNS of 1978, 1982, 1987, 1993, and 1998, and the Updating of the Nutritional Status of Filipino Children in 1989\/90, 1992, 1996, and 2001. The Sixth NNS included four major components, namely, Anthropometric Nutrition Survey, Biochemical Nutrition Survey, Clinical Nutrition Survey and Food Consumption Survey.
