The Monitoring System consists of primary data collected from households on a periodic basis (more or less every four months, depending on seasonality). FAO conducted a computer-assisted telephone interviews survey in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to assess agricultural livelihoods and food security between 22 January and 19 February 2024. Data collection took place during the harvest season in 11 of the country\u2019s 26 provinces (Ituri, Kasai, Kasai Central, Kasai Oriental, Nord-Kivu, Nord Ubangi, Sud-Kivu, Sud-Ubangi, Kwango, Tshopo and Tanganyika). Data are representative at the provincial level.
