Two repeated dietary recalls were collected for 929 subjects, with an average of 2 days between the subsequent recalls. Both weekdays and weekends were covered in the survey.\n\nPeople aged 15 years or older were asked about their intakes. The person in charge of food preparation and distribution in the household was asked about ingredients and recipes of foods prepared at home and also provided information on the intakes of children less than 15 years old. A food frequency questionnaire was also administered.","weight":"Since the sample of the ENSANUT 2012 is not self-weighted, a survey weight was calculated for each survey participant. Initial weights were derived using the age and sex distribution of the CPV 2010 population, because several health conditions are associated with these variables. The final weights account for the complex survey design as well as for survey nonresponse. The weights were used throughout all analyses. Thus, to ensure appropriate estimation of precision, all survey estimates must incorporate survey weights and sample design.\n\nThe use of the weights and the variables \"EST_VAR\" and \"CODE_UPM\" are very important to adequately reflect the characteristics of the population.\nAs example: svyset [pweight = pondef], strata (est_var) psu (code_upm) singleunit (centered). Where the pondef variables are \"WEIGHTING_FACTOR\" (final weight for diet data) and \"S_W_ANTHRO\" (final weight for anthropometry data). The choice of the weighting is defined by the research question."}},"data_access":{"dataset_use":{"conf_dec":[{"txt":"The users shall not take any action with the purpose of identifying any individual entity (i.e. person, household, enterprise, etc.) in the micro dataset(s).
