The Monitoring System consists of primary data collected from households on a periodic basis (more or less every four months, depending on seasonality). FAO launched a sixth-round survey in Mali between 21 September and 17 October 2023. It reached 1490 households through Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviews (CATI) to monitor agricultural livelihoods and food security. Data were collected across nine regions: Gao, Kayes, Kidal Koulikoro, M\u00e9naka, Mopti, S\u00e9gou, Sikasso, and Tombouctou.
