The Monitoring System consists of primary data collected from households on a periodic basis (more or less every four months, depending on seasonality). FAO launched the first round of the DIEM-Monitoring household survey in Palestine (West Bank governorates) in May 2024 as a pilot initiative to test the methodology in this context. Data collection was conducted via mobile phone interviews. A total of 1323 beneficiary households were surveyed across eight governorates, including a combined stratum for Qalqilya, Salfit, and Tulkarm governorates.
