The Monitoring System consists of primary data collected from households on a periodic basis (more or less every four months, depending on seasonality). FAO launched the sixth round of the DIEM-Monitoring household survey in Pakistan to assess rural agricultural livelihoods and food security. Data collection took place from 14 August to 4 September 2024. A total of 6292 households were surveyed across 24 rural districts in Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.
