The operation was undertaken in response to the absence of a recent and comprehensive frame of agricultural households; the most recent household listing was the 2009 Population and Housing Census which no longer reflected the current demographic and agricultural landscape.\nThe household listing aimed to identify and enumerate households within the selected enumeration areas, collect key information on their agricultural activities, and identify agricultural households eligible for inclusion in the agricultural survey programme.
