A post-enumeration survey was conducted from 16 to 30 September 2022 to assess the census coverage and the quality of census data. A sample of 180 EAs was selected from all districts of the country. Census and PES records were matched using data science techniques with Python. Gross under-coverage was around 1.8 percent while gross over-coverage was around 0.2 percent. An independent quality review (available as an internal report to the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda) was carried out, in parallel with the thematic analysis, which investigated the work done before, during, and after census enumeration to maximize the level of data quality.","cleaning_operations":"Direct data capture was ensured by the CAPI method, using CSPro software.
