RuLIS Surveys

Developed by the Statistics Division of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Rural Livelihoods Information System (RuLIS) provides rural incomes, livelihood, and social and economic data to support evidence-based analysis of rural development. This collection contains microdata derived by Statistics Division for RuLIS, used to compute country-level RuLIS indicators (available at FAOSTAT - Food and Agriculture Statistics) using a harmonized methodology and aligned with national household and agricultural surveys. It also includes the metadata of the original surveys from which the indicators and derived micro-variables are produced. More information is available here: https://www.fao.org/in-action/rural-livelihoods-dataset-rulis.
