    Sampling

    Sampling Procedure

Households were randomly selected according to the random walk method (UNICEF 2010). Women were randomly selected from two out of the three villages of the Lama forest, Agadjaligbo and Zalimé, which were chosen for their accessibility. The interviewers started from a crossroads in each village. One of the four paths leading from the cross was chosen and the first household was visited. In case of absence, the household next door was visited. Consecutive households were not selected; one household was interviewed, and then 2, 3 or 4 households were skipped. About 15 interviews were conducted along each of the four paths, always starting from the crossroads. In both villages, 60 interviews were carried out.

    Weighting

No sample weights were used in this survey.
