Agricultural Survey [ag/oth]
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) through its Country Office in Yemen, with technical support from the Data in Emergencies (DIEM) Hub, conducted the third round of its high-frequency monitoring (HFM) survey, marking the eighth survey overall, to track rapidly evolving indicators related to shocks and food security. Data collection was carried out between 25 and 31 May 2023, reaching 2 524 households across all 22 governorates of Yemen through computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI) using the random digit dialing (RDD) method. The HFM survey is a rapid assessment of the food security situation in Yemen aimed at informing early warning systems and decision-makers. It did not collect any data on agriculture, agricultural livelihoods, or needs.

Data collection took place from 25 to 31 May 2023 and reached 2 524 households in all 22 governorates of Yemen via CATI and using the RDD method. The sample is representative at the national and governorate levels with a 95 percent confidence level and a 10 percent precision.
Data were weighted at the analytical stage to ensure a proportionate representation of the population. Weights were computed based on population size and wealth proxies (access to drinkable water and education level of the heads of the household).
