    Sampling

    Sampling Procedure

    The study employed a non-probability sampling. For each Romanian county, two general practitioners were selected, one working in a rural area, the other one working in an urban area, and four from Bucharest. The sample at county level was based on statistical data on the population of Romania (54 percent urban population, 46 percent rural population; 52 percent women, 48 percent men).

    A consecutive 7-day estimated food record method was used for all survey participants. Both weekdays and weekends were covered in the survey.

    • The micro dataset cannot be re-disseminated by users or shared with anyone other than the individuals that are granted access to the micro dataset by FAO.
