En el capítulo 4 de CULTIVOS PERMANENTES Y PASTOS CULTIVADOS, se toma en cuenta esta variable únicamente para los cultivos, mas no para los pastos cultivados, debido a que estas variables no son cuantificables para los mismos, dado que a ellos se los calcula por biomasa, y dicho cálculo no se lo realiza de la manera tradicional con la que se calcula a los demás productos consumibles.
