This refers to the expenses incurred for maintenance and minor repairs and improvements made on the reported farm investments during the last completed cropping period.

Imputation and derivation

Imputation

If the value of repairs/maintenance and improvement is greater than 50% of the acquisition cost, it will be recorded as new acquisition. The year acquired will then be the year when such repair was made.
