During the electronic data processing, the field supervisors were asked to encode 1 if CODE 6 - Others (specify) is encircled as the sample farmer's reason for higher production.
The encoded number one (1) acts much like a "tick mark" and allowed the data processing system to count the responses pertaining to the said reason.

Other reasons for higher production include good price of tomato, production of quality fruits and more hills of tomato planted.
