Since January 2002, have you (or any household member) lost any stored crops to pests, rodents, fire, theft, or water damage?
Warning: these figures indicate the number of cases found in the data file. They cannot be interpreted as summary statistics of the population of interest.
The events can be anything that was unexpected by the respondent - such as rodents, pests, fire, theft, and weather events. Once again, you should ask about each event separately, recording the date of the event and the value of the stored crops that were lost. For example, one bag of maize was lost due to theft, in Question 21, you should ask about the value of that bag of maize.
